I have recently purchased a Monaco Blue 51 plate, ph2 172
I have noticed it has a shift light in the dash, but I thought the shift lights were only fitted to early ph1 172's.
Is my ph2 something rare/unusual or wasI misinformed in thinking they were only on ph1's?
Cheers
Is this not the same car for sale again with 146,000 miles on the clock? LOL

I did read that somehwhere and have tried it, but that didn't do anything.
Does anyone have the wiring diagram or pin designations for ECU or UCH so I can check all the feeds and earths?
Right, need answers here from people who KNOW their stuff.
I have a 51 plate, Ph2 Clio 172 with an immobiliser problem.
Turn the ignition on and the red immobiliser light stays on in the instrument cluster, if you go straight to cranking it'll crank a couple of times then stop, or if you turn...
It would DEFINIELY be worth just timing it back up again in the vain hope it hasn't bent anything.
If the top end is still turning there is always a chance and it would seem like no compression if the cam timing is miles out.
I know a mate of mine tried to do a cambelt, that rattled and stopped...
We bought it! He just hasn't changed the advert.
It is hpi clear, all the numbers match and the breif periods it runs for it sound healthy enough!
It came with both keys and the v5, and it has been successfully registered to us now.
The car is in really good condition inside and out barring some...
Well I know many of you know of my little brother Moo's Saxo and so I thought i'd stick up a thread with it's best pictures as it's now met it's end. as time went on Moo fell out of love with the Saxo so when A young lad off Sax-P offered him good money for the car he decided to take it. We knew...
The 'Moo' half of Beaniemoo here
We have a new addition!
A couple of months ago I decided enough was enough with the show Saxo and sold it to someone who has now broken it for parts and scrapped the shell!
I decided to get something cheap and fun to just run around in and enjoy ,so got a Mk1 106...
Wow what a brilliant find MASSIVE thanks Whitley I did see a lot of people taking pics of the car and I wondered where they might crop up.
The Combo is indeed brilliant, I went out as a passenger in the afternoon and it's crazy fast and not as terrifying from inside as it looks from outside.
Here you go mate

Should probably update it, but since having the car on the road we have had SO MUCH fun driving it, we've kind of forgotten to keep you lot updated lol
Definitely going to try to...
The car made just over 230bhp on the rollers and weighed in at 793kg when weighed some time ago and isn't any heavier may even be a little lighter but i've not had a chance to weigh it yet. It is VERY FAST lol.
Right you are chap here we go, the Clio recently finally made it on track and here is a video from its first outing, but before everyone points out where and when I'm not going fast enough please bare in mind it was my first time on track properly, after 3 years and £x0,000 of building and the...

Moo was also there in his new car
Yeh it's a supertrapp I had on it as the car was mega noise on the static sound tests. As it turned out though the car was actually hardly registering on the sound moniter when out on the track so we took it off at lunchtime and did a few slower laps while one of the marshals listerned on the...
Well yesterday was the day that a lot of you thought would never come and the Clio finally got to stretch it's legs on track! Did an open pit trackday at bedford autodrome and absolutely loved it. Huge thanks to everyone who was involved especially andy rg who travelled millions of miles to come...
That doesn't sound very promising at all as the 48's create a hell of an induction roar at full chat. As luck would have it my dad works at bedford and is my passenger for the day so he said if we have trouble then we can lift a little past the sound moniters.
The sound test was done at the...
Hi there, although it's Sunday now so there's not a lot I can do about it I thought I'd ask on here as there's a good few trackday warriors about. Had the throttle bodied F4R engined MK1 sound tested yesterday and it's MEGA loud at 109db static! At the moment It uses a custom made powerflow...
I was there waving the Mk1 flag on the Cliosport stand!! Little white mk1 on 2118's don't suppose you got a pic did you as you seem to take a very nice pic
Wow what an awesome thing to say! thankyou so much. It's great to have the car together and being able to take it to these events. It was also brilliant to get the clio out on track where it truely came alive skinning some very fast cars indeed which was fun lol. Sorry I didn't really get to...
Ah thats very interesting to know! The Orange TVR Chimera 500 in the pictures is a mate of mine that I have a bit of a grudge match with to beat just for fun and I thought I didn't stand a chance as he ran 13.3 but with a terminal of 104 so maybe i'm still in with a chance.
Oh I forgot to...
OOOh now there sounds like a man who knows qtr mile times so I thought I'd post my timings up to see what you think it says about the overall performance of the car and I presume 106mph is a good terminal?

So, as far as I can work out the we last posted the car was most the way assembled but lacking one big bit. The Bonnet. Since I can only run a bonnet...
