Whats the capacity of the mk1 RT tank? Is it 50 litres? Which is what in gallons? How the hell do you work out mpg, its summit simple int it!!
Anyway, Ill fill up on Monday and travel to work and back everyday, when friday comes, the red light will flicker on on my way home, usually about...
I cant really comment on either the CTR or 172 as Ive not driven or been in either, but I have read a lot of reviews on it and the general consensus is that the Cup is the best, as fast a CTR, better feedback, more fun, cheaper.
lol, 172 wallowing, thats gonna get some comments off 172 owners Im sure!!
From what Ive read, the CTR is stiffer round bends then the 172, but there is a lot less feedback from the CTR, therefore it takes an experienced driver to get the best out of it as you said, but the 172 gives more...
Its only a ford lol
Dont matter if its a lada as Top Gear demonstrated!!
Im still not convinced the CTR is the fastest hot hatch, hmmmm, on track the focus should whip the CTR, 172 and Cup, on the road, Id imagine the CTR or Cup to come out on top.

£2700???? thats mental!!
When I was 17 I had a VW Polo which cost £500 fully comp to insure, now Im 21 and my 1.4RT Clio with a load of mods costs £565, Im sure your paying too much for a 1.2 16v!
£13,500 for a car that does 0-60 in 9 seconds and 125bhp? Isnt the Cup similar spec inside? For the same price? With a late 6 seconds to 60? and a "massive" saving of £1,500 over the Type R, the Type R is £15,995 int it? £13,500 plus £1,500 = £15,000. Autoexpress have done there research well...
