Its no joke, the pram we bought JUST fits into the corsa, and it was the same with the 172! take a bit of wiggling and elbow grease!

Lucky you, have you ever tried getting a xeon out of a phase 2 172! you have to remove the entire sodding bumper!

Any good garage can do it, but non renualt dealers may not fit a renault belt, and if you have a warranty then the warranty could be invalidated.

Had mine done a few months ago, they did the cam belt and auxilliary belt for £450, it can be done for about £350 by a dealership, and less by an independent but I suppose it depends on how much you trust the person under the bonnet, and a non genuine dealer may not fit renault parts which may...

theres a couple of bolts under the wheel arch covers, and screws on the front splash plate, easier with 2 of you doing it

Deffo looks like condensation in the engine to me, it can be a yellow and coffee ish colour. I used to have the same problem with my golf GTI. Its caused mostly by short trips, and happens this time of year a lot when its damp and cold. A few big runs getting the engine stinking hot can help...

Very nice pics, I recognise a lot of the landscape there, as I only live about 12 miles away, there are some brill driving roads in the area, especially the A470 to penderyn road, just be carefull of the ponies and sheep though!

Bell UK are pretty good, after a lot of searching I got mine £375 fully comp and all the trimmings etc, but then again at 34 I suppose its a lot easier for me

Ok heres a strange one. About 400 miles ago I had the timing and aux belt changed on my 172. The car runs great.....except for a prominent knocking noise that is coming from the drivers side area of the engine bay, or in the area around the front drivers wheel arch. Strange thing is it...
