Im moving to London at very short notice and am no longer going to need a car, where does everyone think I'll get a better price?
Im probably going to live in New Cross, not one of the best parts of London, think this could put people off?
On the other hand I currently live in quite a posh...
At a guess i would suggest that the level should always be between marks A and B when the oil is either hot or cold to ensure it is never out of the range
Planning to change the gearbox oil and just wanted to check id got it right
Do I pour the oil into 1 until it reaches the level of hole 2 and starts coming out?
Cheers for the help everyone, especially Fred! Got a new injector on order at euro car parts so will hopefully have the car running by the end of the week
I swapped the injector from the misfiring cylinder, no.3, with injector no. 2 and the mis fire moved to no. 2 = a dodgy injector which is now in no. 2
Question now is do I get it, or all of them, cleaned, e.g. http://www.injectorcleaning.co.uk/index.htm
or do i get a new injector?
Cheers Fred, Ive managed to remove all the injectors still attached to the rail
How do i now go about switching injectors 2 and 3? Take the clips off and pull from the rail?
Im curently trying to switch round injectors 2 and 3 to see if ive got a faulty injector causing a misfire
Ive got as far as disconecting the fuel line from the rail, clips from the injectors and electrical connectors
I cant get the fuel rail off the injectors, is it meant to come off? or...
I would say yeah its fine, im having the same problem at the moment, i connect the charger for a while then start the car with the charger still attached
So i changed the HT leads today and the misfires still there, it seems a little better though, feels like its got more power.
Could this be due to build up on the spark plugs? No. 3 was quite black when i looked at it, the others were fine though as they were only changed 10 months ago
So do i...
Was trying to find out why my 182 is mis-firing today,
On the coil pack there are 4 pins, but in the plug that attaches to this there are only 3 connectors, it looks like there is space for a 4th but theres no wire or or connector, is this normal?
As far as im aware you can only get them on the net, either http://www.rs192.co.uk/page1.htm or http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RS192-SCORPION-CAT-BACK-EXHAUST-RENAULT-CLIO-182-CUP-/260711516991?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cb39e0b3f
If you want to do a bit of a bodge like I did then get some garden hose and stick 3cm lengths in in the gaps in the hanger, e.g. in the bottom if you want to push it up, on the left side if you want to push it right etc. Then secure them with zip ties. Job done.
Not as bad as this one

f**k me thats gunna be loud
Cheers for your help mate
Just had a look at the coil pack and the leads are secure into that, should I now remove the plenum to check theyre secure into the spark plugs? and where would be best to get a new plenum gasket? dealers?
