Start doing some serious weight loss, start chopping out the door and boot inners, get rid of the bonnet strengthening/double skinning. There is loads of weight to save in removing unused wiring loom.

After the wet sanding a machine will make quicker work of the sanding marks left behind.

Give the whole car a wipe over with some AG Tar and Adhesive remover first. Adding extra lube wont make the clay work any better. I have no experience of the Poorboys clay but would maybe look into another clay i it s not working.

Duragloss gets my vote. Not found anything I like as much, a notch above the chemical guys offerings, not tried the Dodo wash though.

Indeed - Start with 3 on a polishing pad, stepping up to the light cut pad if need be. If it is not working try the above steps with the 2.

Klasse AIO/Carlack 68 works well on oxidised paintwork - contains chemical cleaners rather than having a heavy cut but works well.

Not used any of the Britemax polishes so not sure how abrasive they are. If you know how they compare to other stuff, I have use Menzerna Intensive Polish or Final Finish on either a light cut or polishing pad if that helps.

A decent wax will add a little something to the paint, not anywhere near the look a good polish can give.
