Is just a very very large plush MF, if you want to get an impression of how it works, take a normal sized plush towel like a Pakshak Ultra Plush, Sonus Der Wunder Buffing Towel or Poorboys DMT and see how it is to dry a wing.
Means you can wipe rather then just blot. Found it a touch quicker...
Check your towels very carefully , even after a pre use wash in the machine I found a plastic tag in mine - like those things you get when you buy a new pair of jeans, little clear annoying things.
Very nearly damaged my newly painted front valence - Not happy
Not much you can really do -http://www.alcantara.com/en/experience/manutenzione/manutenzione.shtml
Damp cloth and some AG Interior Cleaner is ok for general cleaning.
If they have gone bobbly shave with a bic razor.
Brazo wanted to kill me when I topped Z with Carnuba on a car we did :o
I am tempted to get some to use on the GTi after I have finished correcting it to use over winter
The Beauty of the FA is that it can be used as a standalone one step on a polishing pad to clean up paint quite nicely - on a Menzerna Polishing pad, it does nice correction and leaves a superb gloss, that you can go straight tyo wax with.
If I have used Intensive Polish I follow up with PO85RD...
The only real advantage BOS has over Onyx, the fact after a few washes it still looks as good as when it was just applied. It does look marginally better than the Onyx.
I would go straight to wax, you may notice a small increase in wetness if you use a glaze after it though. Final Finish gives such a nice look a glaze hardly adds anything.
If using EGP after it I would do SRP or Klasse AIO/ Carlack 68 first.
The main % of looks and improvement in looks will come from the polishing stage, get one of the N/Westers to run over it with a PC for you.
I am liking Victoria Concours and P21s now R222 on my GTi which is in the same kind of colour range to your Valver on a reasonable budget.
Depends on how it is finished - what is the part ? Has it been lacquered ? If so treat it like normal paint.
If it has a dull looking finish just use some Klasse AIO on it.
