There's no way I'd want to mess around with all that hassle for the sake of saving 20 pence on your insurance next year.
Yes you have to declare it and no it doesn't make a huge difference.
That would make sense - when visually inspecting the injector, where there are little recesses there appeared to be some molten metal or something. I'm guessing it's been getting hot?
Gsf just told me the injectors they supply for a 182 are the same as a 1.8 laguna.
So I head to the scrap yard to check, but they look different to me and Renault claim different part numbers.
Thoughts?
Ha, yes Sam - I was just being a bit of an idiot.
We finally figured the pushing on the hub bit - it took a bit of faffing about but we got there in the end. -2 degrees and it is really quite a noticeable improvement.
Just been out there with a multimeter.
There is no short circuit on the loom.
The injector is reading 0.01-0.02 between all injectors (I only have a crappy multimeter that goes to 20k).
I guess the only real way is to swap the injector for another cylinder and see if the fault code changes?
Started the car up this morning and it was running very rough. The engine management light was flashing, and the car was misfiring constantly.
I left it an hour or so and headed off to a friends garage to read the codes - by this time the misfire seems to have all but gone, but the fault code...
I'm curious what you guys think a 182 interior is worth.
I have been offered a 172 interior and £100 for my 182 interior, which I'd quite happily do as it'll all be gone soon anyway, but I do not want to be underselling it massively.
Thoughts?
144k here.
It gets abused daily, and in 6k miles has cost me a fair bit in belts, gearbox, brakes and suspension refresh.
I do not care about the mileage - the engine is about the only moving part left anyway. It makes them impossible to sell, though.
Before I spent money on the suspension...
A Minno trailer apparently weighs around 275kg. So that'd leave me needing to get the Clio down to 725kg lol.
My hope was perhaps there are lighter trailers out there, say 200kg and the Clio could be brought down to 800kg.
Seems like a lot of hassle though, even in the long run. Annoying.
I...
I want to retire the Clio to track days and competitive events, I've found another car that's perfect for a daily and is ridiculously cheap but it has a braked towing limit of 1000kg :(
I think the whole idea has been thwarted before it's even really started to be honest :/
Mine is torn - is it as bad as it seems and death will result from not having it or have I got a bit of time to sort it?
Essentially, how good is the inner seal?
