Cracking cars - inderrated due to image problems. Beautiful balance but let down by lack of power. Had a phantom electric supercharger kit in mine which was absolutely kick ass. Kept mine 3 1/2 years and nothing broke despite track days/drift days and daily duties
How the hell does one go about test driving a 220 or even a 200 edc?
made several enquires with dealers locally to me and no joy. 220 demos on order and maybe a few months ago. 200's are very rare as a dealer.
It almost feels renault are doing their best to shoot themselves in the foot on...
Had the same exp as above. Off to work (aftermarket steering wheel). Heavy smoke and noise from the horn. Pulled over and switched engine off. Shorted/melted horn wiring. Lucky no flames. Also surprised the horn fuse didn't do its job.
Nankang ns r2 medium. I have a set to go on in feb then trackday at oulton. Seems a good compromise between daily commute and few track days. At 50 quid a corner its worth a try. On a stripped cup it might be fine. Will let you know how i get on.
installed "fatty's" kit today, first impressions, love the warble coming from it.
Great sound and subjectively seems faster and throttle repsonse is good. Very happy for the price!
Thanks dude
Ive been running one in my daily drive, not the clio (as part of my phantom supercharger setup) and its been good so far.
I guess you couldnt leave the car standing for ages like with a regular battery (e.g holidays) so consider a disconnect for those periods/solar/trickle charger?
Some peeps...
Hi guys, sorry if posting a Q that has been asked before. I wanted to put some winter tyres on the standard spare 15" wheel on the cup. I have 195/50/15. Does anyone know if this would fit or is it too wide? There is 195/50/15 already on it?
thanks
Right second attempt.
The front, near the headlight has 2 ground points. got the back one off, sanded and cleaned. couldnt get the one nearest to the front of the car off. looks like its rusted on and there is no space to get it off
either way, its made it worse. Its like the car isn't getting...
I have the exact same problem. Happened twice now both after heavy rain. I have checked the battery, earth leads and cleaned the relays. Thought the job was a goo one until this morning and again refused to start.
started first time this afternoon in the sun!
Can anyone put a pic up of where...
Took my mx5 to blink. They were fantastic. They are basically race engineers. All sorts of race cars in the workshop. I drove from birmingham and I thought it was well worth it rather than faffing around with local places that dont have a clue
I have the same problem. occured a few weeks ago. car drove as normal in heavy rain then went to restart it after work and engine wouldnt start. just a sort of relay click. no fault codes. no obvious leaks in the engine bay - pulled fuses etc.
Didn't pull the relays (only because i couldnt with...
I agree with Mark cup. The issue is not with claiming. If you have your car insured then claiming is the logical way forward in any accident as that's what is for. Insurance company A that you are insured with pay out.
What is completely immoral is that insurance company A go after an...
been said/done to death but whiteline arb. also got a track cup. bedford without it at the start of the year........ bit of a mess. now 100% better with it on. cheap and does a great job.
its juvenile and funny for a bit. had it on mine and one of the most fun things you can do in your clio, even the mrs thought it was halarious and always wanted a go.
left it on for a track day and it was embarrassing. took it off after that
snow foam works well for me. I usually use car lack sealant and a wax every 4 months which probably helps the snow foam do an extra good job. in the height of winter works very well for a quick "no touch" wash without spending ages outdoors. I spray it on dry though.
greenlight sorted a great price on my "track day" clio. made all the difference deciding having/not having a second car with 0 ncb (they mirrored the ncb on my daily)
