Ive got a set of Uniroyal wet sport tyres with exactly the same profile as yours (195/45/16) and Im running around on them at 32psi (2.2 bars). As mentioned somewhere above, I decided to keep them at that seeing as they arrived already at that pressure. Best not to mess too much IMO.
I was originally going to have a Powerflow s/s system installed on my 96 RSi but then, I heard some bad things about their work. I was just wondering if someone could answer some of the following Qs:
1.) Are K-tec exhausts a good fit?
2.) Are they loud?
3.) What tail pipe options are they...
The thing that puts me off Powerflow is the difference in price and the difference in the quality of work between the different dealerships. Ive heard a lot of people complaining about how rude the staff are and how un-interested they seem. Its almost like they hate making custom exhausts...

Thanks for that mate! I think Im going to go for a K-Tec zorst then! By the way, what backbox/tail pipe options do they do and how loud are they? Could they supply me a CAT back system for a 96 RSi?
Can anyone recommend a decent Powerflow dealer in the West Midlands? Ive already spoken to one - the A44 Exhaust Shop in Worcester. They quoted me 250 quid for a single 3" tail pipe - CAT back system.
The last thing I need is another sh*tty exhaust!!!
I would imagine you will benefit from a strut brace because by lowering the car you will be able to hit bends a lot harder and brake much later. This results in the chassis flexing or rolling. If you fit a strut brace, you will reduce the amount of flex in the chassis and improve handling even...
Ive got the Bosch wiper blades of my Clio and they fit perfectly. Good quality as well. Nice and quiet and shift all the crap. I recently bought some for my other run around (1991 Ford Escort Estate) and, again, no problems! You mustve bought the wrong wipers mate!
I damaged mine on the motorway a while back now. How the hell did I manage that I hear you ask - there are no kerbs on the motorway :p
For some reason there was a lump of brick in the road and I saw it, but at the last minute. I only just clipped it but it still did a pretty good job of...

I think the legal limit for front window tints is 25 or 30%. I cant quite remember which it is! Either way, you cant go too dark im afraid
Which exhaust would you recommend for me? Im after an exhaust that gives a nice deep throaty growl when the car is ticking over at a stand still but sounds nice and aggressive when accelerating hard. However, I dont want the exhaust to deafen me on the motorway!
Would anybody here suggest...

20 quid for a new middle section?!? Where from?!? Both my back box and middle section went on my 96 RSi. I took it to Charlie Browns and they quoted my 200 quid!!!
I own an RSi and its worth pointing out that it might not always be the immoboliser IF you ever have problems with the car starting. The RSi is very prone to the starter motor cable coming lose. All it needs to fix it is for the wire to be crimped!

In particular, look at the Pioneer 8400MP (rrp 600 quid, bass junkies price, 400 quid). Might even be cheaper now as I bought mine a while ago.
Also, look out for the Infinity 6953is (rrp 100 quid, bass junkies price, 60 quid)...
Has anybody here ever heard of or used Bham Bodycraft? The thing is, Im considering having some colour coding done on my Clio RSi and was wondering if anybody could suggest some decent bodyshops for me to take the car into.
The dos and dont of window tinting are as follows:
DO stick to legal restrictions cuz the fuz will be all over you if you dont
DO have youre windows tinted all round
DO have a professional to tint them for you
DONT tint them yourself
DONT pay anymore than 250 quid
But seriously, ask...
Some how the old man has managed to fit me a home-made mesh grill that doesnt get crushed when the bonnet is opened. Ill have a look for you and get back to you, ok.
I have 16s on a Clio RSi (unlowered) and it looks fine. Im not a fan of lowering cars cuz it just fooks your suspension. If you look at a car that has had big wheels put on and been lowered the wheels sometimes actually slope outwards! Lets be totally honest here, big wheels and small cars dont...
