Will fitting a performance exhaust system affect the cars economy?

Pete, when you say its not very noisy, how about at 70mph plus? The reason being im considering fitting a performance exhaust system but I do a lot of motorway driving. I dont want to be deafened by a loud exhaust! Anyway, I think loud exhausts just make the car sound like a bag of nails!

Ive seen some multi-coloured prisms for £25 and some 12" tubes for about the same. They also sold the "dancing" neon wire which you can wrap around your headunit or anywhere else on your dash, etc. for £20-30.

Youre not going to get the full potential from your system by using a factory fitted head unit. I would definately upgrade the head unit! Personally, I would recommend Pioneer as all their units offer superb value for money. If youve got the cash I would opt for something like the DEH8400 (with...
