Fitting components sounds expensive. You have the initital cost of the speakers, then the amp, then the aux battery, then the split charger, etc, etc.
How much should I budget for?
Hi all
I was just wondering if anybody could advise me on whether or not it would be worth replacing my Infinity 5.25" speakers up-front with a set of compenents. The sound that Ive got is pretty good but I was just wondering if, by fitting components up-front, I would get a noticeable...
Just wondering if anybody has ever heard of, or knows of Philips reputation with reference to car audio. Ive just looked at a mates Philips GTM 6935 speakers (rated 200w [60w nominal]). They have a frequency response of 25-32.000 Hz, a sensitivity of 93dB/W/m and are a 3-way design. They also...
The silver Clio is sporting Platinum 8 alloy wheels. I thought the biggest available for this particular rim was 17"? They look small if they are 18s. The black clio looks muuuuuuuuch better!
Sounds like a complete tw*t mate. My g/f had similar trouble with her new Saxo. She bought an Eastcoast 1.1i on the understanding that it had power steering (it was advertised as having it). However, as you probably already know, the 1.1 Saxo doesnt come equipped with power steering. When we got...
K Tec are expensive! I would get it from Prima Racing mate. People slate Prima Racing but as long as you go into the shop and buy the kit off the shelf, and inspect it before you buy, you wont have any problems and save heaps of cash!!!
That, my friend, is the Esquiss Alien wide arch conversion. It will set you back about £950. Best wide arch kit available for the Clio, though. Fits like a glove!
Dunno about that badboy wide arch body kit mate! £650 is pretty cheap for a wide arch conversion, dont you think!?! That, to me, would suggest that the kit aint very good quality, ie, you might have problems with fitting or the kit might be full of holes and/or cracks. Not being negative mate...
You could also try http://www.gtgrafix.comwww.gtgrafix.com mate. They do some really nice plates that have domed carbon fibre letters!!! They look well sweet (£40 a pair).

Have you tried Aldridge Body Craft mate (as recommended by Andy Lowe)??? Theyre in Walsall somewhere. Ive got their number and address if youd like it.
Ive noticed that youve got an RSi as well mate! Ive got 16" rims on mine and theyre aint a lot of room. The cars suspension is standard as well. I wouldnt bother going for 17s myself. I did consider it but when I found out that it would be necessary to roll the arches I didnt think it was worth...
If its coming from the actual pedal and not the clutch I wouldnt really worry about it that much. If youre still not convinced I would take to either a Renault dealer or a local garage to get it checked out (just to be on the safe side).
I had a very similar thing with my RSi mate. I took it in to my local mechanic and explained the problem to him. He took the clutch apart but couldnt find anything wrong with it at all. He checked the cable, the mechanism, etc. I cant remember exactly what he checked because Im not really up on...
Has anybody used this particular body shop? I live in the West Midlands and I dont know of anywhere decent to have my rear valance and skirts fitted? Can anyone suggest where I should go???
Whats involved with regards colouring the door handles and how much will it cost me, roughly?
Im thinking of having the rear valance and side skirts from the Clio Joker 1 body kit. Can you recommend anyone in the West Midlands area that would do a pukka job of fitting the kit and colour coding?
