They don't come it ET35
Either ET38.5 from a 172 Cup
or
ET45 from a Trophy
Both will fit and not rub (unlowered) however if you're planning on lowering the car more than the usual -40mm springs you're better off with ET45 as the offset of a phase 1 172 is ET43
Nice car but i'd be surprised if its as clean as its was when chris owned it especially if the current owner doesn't even use up to date pictures

I had vts wheels on mine then back to standard rims
Square box with zig zag line in it?
Check a battery terminal isn't loose
Also take off the inlet elbow from the airbox open the butterfly and clean inside the mouth of the throttle body they're be a carbon deposit that messes with the throttle position sensor
Common problem
They'll fit so long as you change everything ie suspension legs, hubs and springs but the difference isn't much
5mm lower in ride height, marginally firmer
For road use i'd get 195/50 michelin exaltos as they're only about £48 each fitted from costco and you'll be hard pushed to get a better tyre for that knid of money
Makes me laugh to be honest
People in the know know the difference straight away
