The plate is standard sized but with slightly smaller lettering
fancyplates.com do this if you order a standard plain plate with irish lettering its 10% smaller than standard font size so very subtle
Not much you can do other than spacers as you say and you'll need longer wheels nuts
Lower offset wheels would techincally give a wider track but visually you'll not notice it
Which year is your car
3 door or 5 door?
Which side do you need
Just the door part or the part on the rear quarter panel aswell
I've got a few spares lying round that might be what you need
As for colour coding a back lane paint shop will charge approx £100 or as saids it easily...
What offset are the wheels?
It will say on the inside of each of the wheels
It'll be written as ET.. then a number either thirty something or forty something
Basically you've got a normal 182
When it was bought new the original owner could have added the 'Cup spoiler pack' which is front splitter and larger more peaked rear spoiler
and or
'Cup suspension pack' which is 5mm lower and antracite wheels
Each pack was £200 extra over the...
205/40 tyres are the normal for 17's
What size tyres were on before, i'dd be amazed if they were a different size?
What wheels are they, i'm guessing not renault wheels
My guess without seeing the car is that the wheels fitted are offset ET37 (common on alot of clios) 172's are ET43...

Splitter and lowering to finish it off
Paintwork looks excellent

Loads of people on here have coilovers fitted and there cars really low at the back with no rubbing at all
What wheel are they and size?
Some of the late Cups came with aircon 53 plates and 04 plates very few 04 plates around though
Cups are often slightly more expensive due to the lack of ABS which means loads have been written off

The first Mk2 2.0 liter cars were on a 2000 W plate there aren’t many though many were demonstration or car used as journalists test cars.
The Spec was as below

You'll need to the barings pressed
Generaly its easier just to buy discs with the barings already pressed in them but if you're bought aftermarket discs which if the rears are grooved it sounds like you have they're unlikely to give you the option of barings.
Standard rear discs with...
If you sand the textured normal bumpstrips before priming that will get rid of the orange peel look and ensure the primer bonds to the plastic better
I have a pair of bumpstrips off a mk2 172 that are already smooth, just the rear quarter parts though if you're interested. It'll save you a...
Take a picture of the car with the bonnet open to show the difference (if any) between the engine bay strut top colour and the colour of the external wing. Thtat way you'll no if its just a poor camera or actually a difference in paint colour.
Even if the car is HPI clear it could have been...
