An external one will mess up the auto wipers and an internal one will look odd as it'll be cut round the sensor behind the rear view mirror

Washer jet is the same as on a normal 172 you just need a small section of plastic pipe to link to it because the cup spoiler is more peaked the existing pipe is too short. The brake light is different and about £30 from the dealer

I still love the Mk1's but the age of the now I just don't think i'd ever get another one I don't mind fixing mechanical issues but once you've got rust there's no way back and i'd be hard pushed to believe there is honestly a mk1 out there without any rust at all. Buy my mk1 172 £2K ;)

The pipe branches into two just behind the bumper on the passenger side corner so if you wanted to plug it then thats the best spot really I only spray the jets a squirt at a time that way the water is never pushed through far enough to spray the xenons it only does the windscreen

I'd say its reached what its worth as salvage with that kind of mileage Hard to see how its on a C unless the roof is creased or the subframe bent

Cheaper at Costco I just bought a set of 4 195/50 15 exaltos V rated for £160 fitted 195/45/16's are £70 each from costco 205/45/16's are £88 each They have an offer on with £40 off when you buy four 15's or 16's not sure when it finishes

Is it a factory fitted alarm?

My bet is that the airbag light is on because the seats previously had the airbags deployed. The side bolster leathers look ripped and slightly loose which would indicate that they've been stitched up and no airbags refitted.

Just buy them new from gsfcarparts .com or .co.uk you'll get 10% discount by mentioning club membership plus you can collect them locally to avoid postage. They'll come with the barings in them New rear pads are only about £15
