:) Welcome to Renault ownership. There full of little niggles. Just had to repair my heatshield with some hosepipe because it had snapped off the mounts! haha
Maybe it's not a fault, but seeing as Renault have a cure for this occurance, one could call it a fault :) Not going to cause any damage to the car so i'm not bothered.
I was reading through the search last week on this problem. It's something to do with a signal sent from the ECU, thinking the car keys are still in the ignition. To clear the fault, ask a renault dealer for the ''RS+15' fix...
How do you check for a faulty wheel bearing? Can you just shake the wheel when the cars jacked up? I think ones gone on my car, coming from one of the front wheels..
Just installing my stalk adapter for the alpine unit. Where i've connected the wiring adapter (3) into the car, it connects to the wire (1) Does anything connect to (2) - the old socket on the back of the clock? When i turn the stereo on, nothing appears on the screen bar the time and outside...

Wont be selling this now Mick, i've bought a patch from ebay. The loom is universal, you just have to change the 3.5mm jack piece for an Alpine fitment :) £4 job done!
This similar item on ebay has a yellow connector which i presume the stalk control connector plugs into. Should I have this connector on my wiring loom? I'm unsure if my wiring loom is complete? Do i have pieces missing?
I want to control my new Alpine headunit via my steering conrols on my new 182.
I removed the wiring loom (shown in picture) in 2007 from my clio 172, which had a sony headunit.
My question is, will this autoleads(Model number 099-X01\X12) control the alpine unit, or will i need an adapter to...
On a clio meet recently, myself in type R and some lovely gentleman in a white 197 went from rolling start to 135 ish... The 197 was probably a car length behind all the way..... Standard 182 against a standard EP3 would probably see the type R pull away by such a small amount you wouldn’t...
The clio is by far the most 'fun' car you can buy.. OK persides a westfield or cateram 7!! :P In my opinion of course! The exhaust is quite throaty, but not too loud. Its the first performance exhaust i've had on a car, so i guess it will sound beafy to me, in comparison to a standard system...
Some of you said 'you'll be back' when I bought the type R last August.. Guess you were right!!
Picked it up this morning, GAZM's old bus..
Cheers Gary, will look after her!!
:P
My g/f's sister got in my 172 when i met her, "lol - you have a girls car, she said"
Exit next roundabout in 2nd. She bangs her head on the roof and complained of being car sick. STUPID GIRL
