I like a nice short geared car with acceleration, but 100MPH would be a bit slow for all but a few shot tracks and mountainous rally stages.
And over here, 100MPH is not considered fast or dangerous. We do tend to spend hours cruising at well over 100.
Still, I would take the S1600 car...
Had my first encounter with a well driven Civci Type R at the ring yesterday afternoon. I was impressed. I was on his rear bumper for the entire lap, he would pull a length here and there due to gearing differences, I would imagine, but then I would reel him back in. 20km neck and neck...
I gave a couple plugs over on an orkut Clio community.
If some one wants an orkut invite, let me know. It is also a good place to botain Gmail invites as well.

I brought my car in to the dealer a couple weeks ago for the 20,000km service. Got a call telling me the pads were only good for a few thousand more km and did I want them changed. I didnt tell him they were about the 6th set! And that set certainly didnt make the next few thousand km either...
I replaced my discs at about 17,000km, but believe me they had a hard life. They would probably have lasted a it longer but I went through a few sets of pads a bit quicker than expected and finished a few laps metal to metal...
No issues at all with the clutch.

Clare,
Dont you know that there is a law against putting a ring sticker on a car that has not yet completed a lap of the ring?
Penalty: confiscation of the car. Those werent theives. They were the Polizei.
See you this weekend?
Ed
Clare,
I read about the break in but only saw that the keys were stolen. Didnt realise they got the car. You can take mine for a spin (not literally of course) if you would like to this weekend.
At least they left the Jahreskarte!
All the best,
Ed
You lads think you have it bad. Try motoring over here. Damn thing is over 6000 all the time in 5th!
Id rather have that than some pussy overdrive though. It is a well matched ratio considering the limited power.

The catalogue is the Alpine/Renaultsport one from Dieppe, but those part numbers will prove that you know what you are talking about. They are tapered and can be used to adjust both camber and toe as needed.
Im sure that they can find the needed information if you give them the part numbers...
If you are going for an M3 get a normal variant with the real manual gearbox, not the SMG. I have a CSL sitting in a showroom because I dont like the SMG. Tried to like it and practised for a week with it but it just isnt me.
Youll save yourself a bundle and enjoy driving more. If the CSL...
Im on my third set of fronts, second set of discs, probably my sixth set of front pads, and I do tend to push the car a bit. Ive 21.000km on the clock and the rears are the originals. They are wearing very evenly. But they are wearing nevertheless.
I dont think that there should be any...
Dont go for the Megane! UGH! I have two wee ones and the Willy and the Ragnotti were adequate for them and the bird as well. Just dont get a ridiculous pram and youll be set.
It is a long, slippery slope when you start upsizing. Next thing you know youll be driving a bus!

And I lied about the Liquide Lave Glace. It was only €3.50.
I use Ferodo DS 3000 pads. Forgot to mention that the discs have been replaced as well.
The rear tyres and brakes are original.
I was there yesterday with my 3 year old daughter. She decided that three laps were enough for her. Ive scheduled electro-shock therapy sessions to cure her.

Brought the car in for the service. They wanted to put new front tyres on and change the brake pads. I told them not to. I didnt tell them that they were looking at the 3rd set of front tyres and the 5th set of front brake pads...
They warned me that I better change the brake pads in the...
Polo Twist, look around a bit and you will find a few Cups, pre registered, with no miles for cheap money. The Renault website will be pushing the new stuff.
Just go to a dealer or Renault sport. I bought a full set from Reneault Sport Deutschland myself for about €140 each.
Of course you could try a few breakers yards...
