wado I know what ur saying mate, I had a customer come in today who had spoken to some noddy who works part time on the parts dept maybe once or twice a week and he decided to tell the customer its practically free fit on everything so I had a customer turn up this mornin for their free fittin...
i understand what ur saying lunner....some ripspeed staff can be complete noddys....however dont paint us all with the same brush...I know my stuff and so does my colleague...anther problem that doesnt help is halfords tightness when it comes to supplyin uniform to staff...they will literally...

May not be the same thing but over the last fortnight Ive developed some sort of play in the steering on my 2003 dynamique...mainly when from moving from a standstill if turning slighty...a knock feeds up the steering column and thats all ull hear of it for a while.

soz to butt in but Ive just brought these components with the intention of fittin um to my mark 2 phase 2 (2003) clio in 16cm form..u sound like uve fitted um to this car b4...any ideas what exactly needs doing to phycially fit them...Ive already run all the new wires into the doors and boot etc...
everyone thanks for ur comments...I am after more of a quality sound but at the same time I do expect there to be plenty of thump on hand when required. in my own opinion the jonah lomu series of fusion amps are reportedly very good however seem extremely expensive for what they are.

just above the stereo is the wiring loom for the rear window heater switch..it always hangs down once u remove the orginal stereo and care must be taken when fitting the new stereo...its possible hes left it hanging down and when hes pushed ur new stereo in its pulled the connections from the...

I dont agree that sony has a poor sound but their units do seem to add a lot to the music being played..as where when u listen to a alpine deck for example u pretty much hear it as it was meant to be reproduced. A sony deck will colour the music and add more bass and treble but not always more...

GRC79 have u got a open air induction kit fitted to ur motor or some sort of sealed induction kit or are u just using a panel filter in the original airbox...Ive got the same motor as you and would love to get those sort of power figures...can u tell me in detail what uve done to the engine
rite the easyiest way to do this on a mark2, phase 2 clio (2001 >) is to remove the two torx bits holdin the multi plug to the cars chassis from inside the door shut....then pull the plug back inside the car and get a dremel and cut the piece of plastic off the bottom screw hole and trim it...
fred just out of curiousity mate have u changed the illumination on ur dashboard mate cos ur clocks look blue...if u have, how did u do it u b*****d and did u change every light in ur dash so it all matched...would it b possible to keep my lockwood dials if I did
thanks mate, sounds good...I always seem to swirl the paint slightly when I do it...looks stunning in non direct sunlight but when direct sunlight hits the car u can see numerious swirls all over the car :( oh well..have to try harder :P

guys a FM modulator is completely legal to use and own over here because ur not transmittin a signal technically....
