hiya mate,
throughout readin this forum ive picked up ur a man who knows his ICE and I appreciate that. Now I work as a ripspeed specialist so I know my stuff too but Im after another guys professional opinion. Ive got 2 12inch Diamond audio M6 subwoofers (dual 2ohm coils) which I plan to run together at 2ohms...now these subs are rated at 800rms each so ideally im lookin at a amp which can do 1600rms at 2ohms which is gonna b f**kin expensive!
I am a man that believes its better to get a underated amp with less power on the label than a trumped up cheap brand however I do like to get as close to the ideal power figure as possible.
Ive seen on caraudiodirect.com the DLS CA10 amp...looks gorgeous but is only rated at 700rms at 2ohms however readin the technical specs it uses 5x30amp fuses WOW! would this amp b any good at running the subs or should I look more towards something like the phase linear opus 1 which is rated at 1x1100rms at 2ohms however it only has a 120amp fuse?
