So would you be conserned running 10w40 delphi semi-synthetic fresh serviced about 1 month ago should hit the max oil pressure mark when you turn the key, it takes a few minutes to drop to half way!
Sorry to interupt but this has me thinking what is the correct oil pressure for a valver?
Mine shoots up to the limit over 6 bar when you turn the key but after 5 minutes of steady driving it goes to under 3 bar and about 2.5 bar at idle. Mine also has very noisey tappets when cold start. But...
Why not get the 172 exclusive interior its full grey leather.
would definatly be different, there are only 172 cliosports with full leather
and it would be even more unique fitted in a cup
My old 1.4rt would be an equal match for saxo vtrs. The valver is in a different league and well my 172 just wouldnt bother breaking sweat to despatch one. The saxo isnt a bad car its just the cliosport is a whole lot better. I would say if you were swapping from the 16v vts then you wouldnt be...
Trying to fit an induction kit?
I would get renault to fix it claim its bad materials pleed ignorance when they ask you how it happened sayyou pulled the bonnet up to check the oil and it was already like it!
You didnt read that JAY!
Should i prepare to have my pants pulled down and put lipstick on or do i have a chance? Mine is standard and the crx has stainless xsorts and induction kit, whats the virdict?
Not that much slower than the cup anyway i drove a friends cup and i would say there is nothing in it now i had the viper fitted. You would have ro get them on the track to exploit any real differences. The ph1 was a bit lighter than the ph2 so the cups weight advantage will be less aswell...
grade 8.8 for me :D Whats the standard nominal bore of a valver exhaust pipe and would having no silencers from the cat back be illegal, harmful and/or to loud?
If anyones interested i think i can get a decat made at work. I work for a firm that make stuff from tubular steel. If i know the length/size of the two flange plates and hole diameters/centres i could get one welded up and galvanised for next to nothing. I do all the technical drawing so could...
This seems to be a regular thing, i genuinly think older people (sorry to generalise) think the bumpers are there to bounce off. A while back the same thing happened to me, an old man this time. We were parked in PCworld Carpark eating our recently aquired Mcdonalds in the G/Fs Golf Cabriolet...
Forgive me for stating the obvious but whats wrong with the good old angle grinder and a new set of bolts. If you are decating i would have thought you would have a new set of bolts, gaskets & putty at the ready. It takes five secods to get through a rusty bolt with the angle grinder.
Has anyone had the feeling that the brake pedal disapears as you press it as if all resistance goes until near the end of the travel scared me to death the other day i thought the pedal had dropped away or something. Think this may be the abs .
Yeah right i would if i new what to search for, it aint in the handbook so i dont know what to call it. Needle in haystack comes to mind.
Without meaning any disrespect it takes as much effort to type use the search as it does to type what the f**king thing is for its a forum not a database...
