  172 cup,s2 rs turbo

its the engine breather pipe from the rocker cover. wont nes do any harm for the moment but i would change it as soon as you can. might be cheaper to get the silicone intake pipe from hillpower rather than another renault pipe.

i had a price list somewhere i will have a look. i think it was about £40. if that is the same or cheaper than renault then get the hillpower one as it looks better and it is a larger bore size.

Dont drive it as potentially you could be sucking in particles into the engine as the pipe is broken after the air filter. Tape it up together and get it replaced asap.

Trying to fit an induction kit?

I would get renault to fix it claim its bad materials pleed ignorance when they ask you how it happened sayyou pulled the bonnet up to check the oil and it was already like it!

You didnt read that JAY!

hi, thx everyone for your help, i wasnt trying to fit a induction kit, was just cleaning, the quality is really crap, i serioulsy hardly touched it, anyway went to hill power and got a silicone one, cost about £45 , and looks good too, just a real sh*t to fit, ps hill power bloke is a top man, had a long chat with him, and going to spent loads the in future.

The plastics used by Renault are cheap, hard, brittle crap. The fuse box clip came off in my brothers hand with very little provocation, damn sure we aint paying for another one!
