Am i right in thinking that the Mk1 172 has white dials as standard? Im fed up with my boring dials in my MK2 and im looking to change them.
Does anyone know if the MK1 and MK2 have the same dial layout?

Go with 17s!! Might slow your acceleration a little but will look the dogs!! Ill be putting up some pics of my 172 with 17" turinis on sat!! Then youll see what i mean!
Agree with 007. You gotta travel for what you really want!! I went to livingston, from Leeds (which is quite similar to 007) to get my 172 in one day also!!

Alright i dont know if this guy i was talking to is talking bull sh*t or what but he says that if i get 17" wheels ill have to go to Rolling road becuase the speedometer will need to be adjusted!! Is this utter nonsense or what?

I test drove the cup before i bought my 172. I was undecided which to go for. I can say that they were pretty much the same, i couldnt feel any difference....well except for the nice leather in the 172 ;)
Why though? Cos it does 0.5 sec quicker to 60 or something crazy!! I could be wrong but i believe that the cup is lighter than the 172, same engine but it gets there that quicker because of its anorexic lol.
The cup doesnt have leather, climate control, xenons, abs etc.
