Very similar power to weight ratios and basically identical gearbox ratios so unless they were dramatically different in terms of mods and i mean real mods not ebay type mods then on the road i'd doubt you'd see a difference

It'll fit fine but you'll really need to do something with the brakes as the standard solid front discs on your 1.2 will struggle to stop it plus the additional engine weight really needs to be compensated with a suspension upgrade

You can take you normal black button out with a flat head screw driver but it will damage the button not that it matters if you puttingthe silver one on

As said it will need the cambelt doing and a service whether you're selling it on or keeping it. If its been standing a long time the brakes could be to bad to release with out renewing. If its totally standard the renault exhaust has probably rotted aswell... it all adds up

Why would your tracking be out any particular reason?
I'd get the wheels balanced as you say they haven't been done, check your tyre pressures then take it from there... start with the basics

I like mintex 1144 pads but as Ali says just get some standard discs from gsfcarparts.com as the back only does about 10% of the breaking so standard discs are more than adequate so are standard pads really
