182's and trophy come with tyre foam as they have no spare wheel well as the exhaust back boxes go through where the spare wheel well would be
Full fat 172 have a spare alloy
172 Cups don't have a spare but they have the space in the boot for one
Winston may be able to point you in the right direction, think he was in the process of getting his bbs wheels machined plus he's in the northwest iirc
If its going to cost you mega money to insure a 172 how much is it going to be to insure a hybrid? presumably similar money?
I don't quite see the point in buying a low mileage 1.6 if you're going to be ripping it apart and putting a 2.0 in there. You might aswell buy a high mileage 1.2 surely?
One thing i'd want to know is how the rear beam got damaged they're not made of balsa wood!
I bent beam to me means buckled wheel(s) which is why is may have a fresh set of wheels on and i'd be surprised if the rear suspension was ok if the beam took a hit hard enough to bend it plus check...
I'd prob sit on the money for now mate and use it for things like a new water pump, belt kit etc etc for the conversion if you haven't already priced those items into the conversion cost
How about wide track? if you've going to the effort of the F7R you could maybe look into doing that at the...

Buy some brembo max 280mm (standard size) for the fronts from your local branch of gsfcarparts.com they're good quality and very reasonably priced
Seems unlikely you need rears at the same time as the fronts as the rears do next to no breaking. If you do need the rears just get the standard...
