looks abfab - the clio 172 is looking super cool in a retro way
another five years and a minter will have that 'wow not seen one of those for a while' like Valvers do now!
autotrader defo - I've sold 3 cars same day on there!
P.S: search facility is very unsophisticated, so if you list that it has been serviced every 12000, it will be found in searches for cars under 20K, first oil change at 1500 will list it as lowest priced in cars under 5000 miles...
you could EASILY blow 2 or 3K on mods and get NONE of it back!
Wouldn't 2 years extra no claims and 3K towards a 172 be better?
^ £25 a week saved in an ISA would give you nearly 3K in 2 years!
nice little motor - the sort of car you can sell on in two years at no loss if kept looking good.
BUT
keep it standard & as mint as you can get it, save your dosh and move on in two years!
ditto - I know cos I bought some 'unknown' wheels cheap of e-bay for £100
BUT measured them at 108, cleaned them up and sold them for £250 to as bloke with a fiesta!
I only tried it once!
fabulous car - style, quality, brakes, ride, handling, comfort ...............BUT
with 250kg more and less torque than my dCi (155 'v' 172lb/ft) it felt slow unless at 5K +
e.g: 4th @ 40 and floor it, the diesel launches, 197 doesn't
even worse was MORE engine...
perhaps 200 for slightly scuffed set with decent tyres
about 220 for complete refurb
Pristine Wheels (Woburn near Milton Keynes) did scuffed silver to mint anthracite for me!
superb :-)
^ ^ tell a tiny porkie!
most couriers don't weigh unless 'obviously' miles out!
I underquoted weight once, but cos driver accepted them without question and signed as accepted, company honoured loss
very very close to 15kg
PS: Action Express were by far the cheapest on the last 2 occasions I posted Alloys (inc. same as you) across the UK
from memory £45?
http://www.actionexpress.co.uk/
P.S: check with bathroom scales
brings back memories - we had late 70's R5TL & R14TL when I was a kid (and the Fuego were launched) - these were cars that were 'coveted' then!
needs to be standard looking in black with yellow fogs and graphics
