^^ NOT true - actual overall diameter & circumference for 185/55x15, 195/45x16 and 205/40x17 is almost IDENTICAL - just proportionally more rubber, less rim with smaller wheels!
£368 to respray a bonnet -WTF?
I reckon £200 max
(two tiny dents from stone - too much for paintless dent devil cos scuffed to primer)
£400 excess, so paying myself (cash)
I need a decent bodyshop in Northants, North Bucks, North Bedfordshire
Ann!
I've had a:
- Bumble (first car - 2cv with a Bee on the bonnet when I bought it - £200!)
- Linford (Black Cavalier when he was 'the man' - felt like a rocket after 2CV)
- Beajolais - Red Reno 19 Rsi
- black kro - black with the plate KRO3
stoopid, but comes on with about 9.9 gallons gone, so loads left
Tank holds 50 litres + (altho officially 45 or 10 gallons)
I squeeked 100 miles on orange in the fuel strike - I bet you'd get almost 50 from a petrol if you dared :-O
my D will do 60mpg all day long @ 65/70, 50mpg @ 80/90 :-)
and it's group 3 insurance, but matches a 1.6 16V petrol in performance
(same 110bhp, but nearly double the torque)
Apex are only about £80 quid, but I only paid £122 FITTED at BB Performance Tuning in Essex!
Search Google, (tick UK only box), "best price clio lowering springs"
P.S: check ClioSport Home Page for discounts link
P.S; to answer questions
1) - NO only risk is clutch, but not till MUCH higher torque levels of 80 and 100 cars
2) - only re-sets a 'tiny' section of ECU (fuel), so NO
unless someone plugged in diagnostic and searched fuel setting only, impossible to spot AND even if they did, how would...
go for it - think its 68 to 88?
be quicker than standard 80 then AND prolly much more economical
^ ^ mine went 53 to 60 almost overnight and it still gets a good whippin'
1) that a new dCi 80 in 2003 was 13K including Reno finance
2) a MINT low mileage 19 RSi Turbo D was worth £600
saved £3K on number 1, made £1K on no. 2!
