15mm may not be enough gor standart bolt, but it can be fixed=bolt cut... or find bolts with short head - simplier prob. - such are used in thick professional spacers - made by H&R and others... they have very flat head...
phew i think the Reno original sowtware should be able to cope with those vast amounts af extra air. It has map sensor or other means to measure it.
It;s just that almost all modern cars are calibrated leanish. - that;s why chipping givs some power.
its standart naming - i think they should know. M12 - dia. of bolt 1,50 - tread type.
for the lenghts - wait - i need to make some investigation :) - but you will be using some AM parts- wheels, spacers prob...? prob around 5 cms (of bolt... from bottom of head)
The tread doesnt need to be...
heeeh :)
First - try with good Battery or with (good) cables. if it has problem with starting then you should check starter - it is common that it refuses to cooperate :)
dont ask how to unmount it... its great part of fun of having 16v :)
many of the wheels Yes - they do have such rings. but some of them may be less than 60,1(!!!) std. -needs checking.
If it uses ring and is bigger than 60,1 without one, make sure You can get a ring somehow - people usually dont like to sell You rings only.
so michelin pilot sports are still good in Your tests? in those which i read they were almost closer to "Crap" than "podium" and for the price... ouch...
and winter tyres - michelin Pilot alpin resulted worse than even kleber... not mentioning nokian and other better makes... - I agree with...

yes - magnesium is prone to high temps. - when the car catches fire it melts like ice cream - but i guess it doesnt matter... does it Nick?
Magnesium wheel is just the wheel casted from different alloy - containing a lot of magnesium. There are some problems with rigidity of magnesium...
ohhh... becoming quite complicated - Im not sure i understand what it is all about... to make sure:
you press the clutch and it works (disengages...=the revs fall down immediately?) but You cant engage the gear? and You feel some tension on the lever, and gears are "not wanting" to go in...
if too much water/coolant came out, the fan switch temp sensor maybe just didnt get proper temp anyway... - that can be the reason for the fan not coming on - but check it
i had similar experience a week ago
I got back from carwash. went home and after 30-45 minutes went back down to see steam coming from under the bonnet. :( - "No it cant be the water from carwash - it must have dryied already..."
So with shaking hands I opened the bonnet, and coolant was spitted...
