just want to know - has anyone fitted a non-clio I gearbox ?
i heard that boxes even from alguna 1.8 16v will fit, but not perfect to the engine and need changing the left mount? same with 19 16v?
how about a Clio 2 1.6 16v box? - it;s said to fit either, again- some problem with a gap...

i never insisted that removing 2 kgs per wheel will make your car go madly quicker.
but removing weight from wheels is closer to shaving flywheel than to removing carpet in your boot :) and like...

rotational weight is more important to acceleration than the mass of any other points...

oh boy oh boy what did I do... should have stayed quiet and keep my thoughts for myself :) myself im somewhere inbetween your counteropinions... ...it may work, but not always, it is not so easy, so it has to be properly and carefully constructed - meaning trying not to spoil intake...
