I test drove an Ibiza Cupra a couple of weeks ago and found the standard suspension really hard and not that brilliant. Over all though it was a nice car.

When I had my 172 I had my Eibachs fitted at R-Tec and that cost me £120 fitted....made the world of difference to the handling.

Tiger - Try replacing the lambda sensor on the car. I know 2 people (one with a Williams and the other with a 16v) who had this exact same problem cured by replacing the lambda sensor. BB Tuning should be able to do it if you live in the Essex area.

Agree with Roamer...get it fixed as you wouldnt want it in that condition if you were buying it. Im going to sell my BMW soon and much as I dont want to Im going to have to fork out for 4 new tyres as the ones on it a completely bald!

My mates MK2 172 has a failed Xenon and it has already been into have the housing replaced.
