You should really declare anything on the car if it is not a standard fit. You could get away with saying the exhaust is just a replacement and does not increase power but may not be able to with the induction.

It was round £200 but it was a development kit. That price included: Filter, Custom housing, Heatshield, Twin air feeds, Cold air scoop and fitting Whether Nick is still doing them I dont know but it was awesome sounding!

I ran mine through the rubber gromit that is in the passenger footwell. I had to pierce this with a knife and this brings you out in a recess next to the suspension...if i remeber correctly. I lubed up the cable with some baby oil and ran it through the gromit and then fed it into the engine bay...

I was 19 when I had my 172 and I was looking at buying a BMW M Coupe but cant quite stretch to the price. Insurance for me (23, 4 years NCB and driving for 5 years) was £1300, not bad when you consider its a group 20+ car.

Youre really going to hate my car now! Sorry to hear that J - I have come to the opinion that instead of speeding Im going to go out and nick things for kicks...I know for a fact that I will only get a warning and perhaps a bit of community work...but at best I could get a free holiday...
