Re: 200 avec 6K HID's
The ballasts are tricky really, with them getting so warm.
I've currently got them ty-wrapped (via the tags) to metal lugs/bodywork within the engine bay. I will keep an eye on them though as I'm not 100% happy with their location, there just isn't a great deal of room...
Kit came courtesy of the good chap over at MT Audio :)
Finally fitted it today, and the free LED sidelights, after having the car for almost a month now :o
Not the greatest pics but looks alot better than the standard yellow IMO and hopefully retains the OE look quite well.
I've just fitted mine to the 200, look so much better than the yellow halogen lamps.
Wouldn't fit them to a regular headlight though, mine are in projectors and look OE.
I'm about 20 minutes from Gisburn and it is a depressing place, it needs an RS to inject some excitement! ;)
To be honest, local radio have kicked up a right stink saying it's 'bad publicity' but what a load of rubbish - some people need to get a sense of humour! :)
The yellow seats really aren't that obvious in the flesh you know :)
Nice choice of car, not taken on the storm grey myself - but I'm sure you'll love it! :approve:
No not at all Nick, simply tick the 'Sunday' box on the form and send it off with the required details/paperwork.
I sent mine off last week, really looking forward to it this year.
As I said in the OP, I didn't identify anyone and there's no registration showing or similar.
Matt, if you want this thread removing or anything, just say the word and it's gone.
I wont mention any names incase the owner doesn't want identifying.
Not a nice sight at all, but all 3 occupants walked away unhurt - Renault 5 star N-Cap did it's job it seems!
:dapprove:
Yeah no Cat in the pics as there's no lambda's to go with it.
I personally wouldn't cut anything out, exhausts are manufactured to perform. Cut a box out and it may sound better but will have undoubtedly lost power.
Why did you do only one ball joint? I know you said there was no play in it but they're less than £10 each and as with all suspension components should really be changed in pairs surely?
That'd be my first thing anyway.
Does the car drive straight with no hands on the wheel?
