It's under the scuttle panel as said. If you disconnect it be warned though, it will have an internal battery and no doubt start sounding...

Also, did you manage to get a fascia to reduce the aperture down to single DIN? The bloke I spoke to couldn't even find one listed for the 200 :dapprove:

Yeah the Connects2 one states Clio upto 2009, so I'm guessing Renault altered something in the facelift.

I think we're confusing two things here - the bonnet catch and the safety catch. As far as I can remember it was the safety catch that was subject to the recall and as such it only becomes an issue if the bonnet isn't closed correctly by the user. Not aportioning blame by the way, just...

Been quoted £100 just to retain the steering controls... Anyone know of any adpators/interfaces available for the 200 in order to retain controls and display?

All 182's have the RS inlets as standard. Good power for essentially a standard car mate.

They are, dealers order them in though as demonstrators too. The Clio 200 is now the only RS still made in Dieppe.

Possibly, but I doubt it with there being such high demand at present. Also the twice annual registration release has somewhat diluted the 'sudden push' to offload cars.

I'm sure my mum's 1.2 had a 31mm hub nut when I changed the ABS ring earlier this year. I'm not 100% sure on that though.

I was about to say, you can't bypass the OE immobiliser as it's part of the ECU. Does sound like a power issue mate.

Re: 200 avec 6K HID's Renault's official response mate - Such a shame really as I know literally dozens of people that would have taken them up if it was an option! Cheers for the comments, I'll keep an eye on my plate! ;)

Re: 200 avec 6K HID's Xenons were an option on the 197 as far as I can remember and will probably be 4300K standard mate. So all you'd need is to change the lamps to 6000K ones.

Re: 200 avec 6K HID's I'll assess the 6K's over the coming months, if I don't like them then I'll revert back to 4300 as that's what I'm used to on the 182. Just fancied a change really and this was the perfect oportunity. Thanks for the positive comments :)

I'd sell it and bank the cash, if nothing else. Pained me to sell my RB as I spent a fortune on it, but the time had come, and I feel like you do that they are getting less valuable by the day.
