I clean mine every time I have the wheel off.
But as said use a dry silicone spray, if you use copper grease or similar every bit of crap/dirt will stick to the grease.
If the belts and the kits have been changed then yes it could be the water pump. Unfortunately if it is then the belts will be off again I believe.
Really needs a clearer/daylight video though.
I think the easiest option would be to change the rear beam to a Clio that uses rear discs, such as a 197.
I know that's the way to convert the Mk2's, not 100% on the Mk3's though.

The ecu isn't really an issue - it's the airbag computer as I understand things. Renault will tell you it needs replacing at great expense, but they can be reset by certain companies.

What's an ELD screen?
Polarised, as in they are polarity sensitive. If the +ve lead and -ve leads are connected the wrong way round then it wont work. Try swapping them round?
The caf from under the airbox mounts to the plate at the rear of the headlight.
The caf from the side of the airbox connects to the acoustic valve which is mounted in your near side wing.
