If you're fitting the Sport wings then you need the sideskirts too, not just the bumper.

Sure the lower arm isn't bent? I mean if the strut was bent, then as it mounts to the hub, surely that would bend something which it attaches to - like the wishbone?

Non sports generally need about 25mm spacers up front I think? You wont get anywhere near that with offset though unfortunately. Just keep it low so they sit as far out as possible.

I've got a couple of spare N/S/R calipers. Couldn't guarantee their condition though, one definitely leaks and the other I removed due to poor effort (although I later established it was the cable at fault). Renault sell them @ about £170 a side!

There's two and they're both on the exhaust, one befor the CAT and one after. This the cause of your limp mode?

Any from a ph2 172 should fit fine. As far as I know only the 182 Cup and Trophy are different.

Cruise ans speed were only introduced in late 2003 so that isn't your problem. As far as I'm aware the SET MPH will be there even though you don't have the function (Cruise etc). It wont be affecting your limp mode problem, that's more likely to be a sensor. Do you have the fault codes?

Eibachs fit all from the 1.4 up, so yes.

Did you manage to get the climate unit out ok?

Sorry I'm really confused - what problem is it causing you if you can scroll through the display past the SET MPH and back to the mileage reading?

What reg/age is your 172? If you scroll through the display does it go back to the mileage after the SET MPH goes off?

Ah right I see, thought it might be worth you doing the ball joint too as you mention uneven tyre wear. Not sure if they're related?

If the car is stationary you cannot enter any values, you have the buttons on the steering wheel right?

You say you replaced the pinch bolt - why was this? You can get clunking from the lower ball joint.

Have you pressed the end of the wiper stalk?

It's the Cruise Control/Speed limiter setting where you can enter the speed required.

For clarification - RB was first released in standard 182 form and there were 433 182's in that colour if I remember correctly. The RB Cup was introduced at a later date and there were circa 200 Cup registrations.
