VMWARE for the definite win, got all sorts of virtual servers running off ours.

tried avg didn't like the interface that much and found it rather overcomplicated a bit like ESET. Sophos is the simpliest bya long shot. Still hard to narrow it down really, bit of a minefield

using symantec corporate in a lot of companies i've worked for, but this place has had it and weren't happy we need something a lot more lightweight.. i've just applied for the sophos trial so i'll see how it goes, we only need anti virus i guess as we have filtering systems on internet traffic...

there is a big thread on mkv's which i started so do a search on that. a simple solution for pc viewing is installing the cccp codecs. They work nicely. how it runs will depends on the spec of your laptop and at what resolution you're trying to display
