Need to get the front wheel spaced out on our DCI rep badly! Thinking I really need 25-30mm but not too sure if this is too much? Did consider doing the widetrack conversion but not sure which parts I need and if it possible to use shafts, wishbones etc etc from a sport? Please discuss :)...

+1 Most vauxhall engines will fit in most vauxhall models relatively easily. But you rarely see the same with renault

plugs are due at 72k and tbf we don't have any problems with them not being changed until 72k either

7 miles is an average road test at our place. no point in doing a 1 mile road test as faults may not show up in such a short time

you've got a bad earth on the rear lights. if you take out the connections on the rear lights you will probably find corrosion on the pins. Clean them up with some electrical cleaner and make sure the pins have got a good connection with one another. that should do the job.

I am breaking my 172 shortly and am considering doing a wide track conversion on the DCI. I am told by the guys at work that subframe, arms, hubs, driveshafts etc will bolt straight onto the DCI in order to wide track it. Also considering rear disc conversion, is this just a case of swapping...
