What time are people wanting to arrive at Trax?
According to the trusty AA it is 3 hours from my house, meaning a 5.30 set off should get us down there for 9.00am at a guess? Just thinking about traffic etc around the venue?
Three beeps is the interior sensors Scott. Might need the sensitivity turning down -
The interior sensors are very sensitive it depend how the sensors on the door pillars are connected. There are two wires to each one and if there connected one way round the sensitivity is 80% if you swap the...
The random beeps have nothing to do with disarming a sensor or two. As Dan correctly stated, the 3 random beeps are because you have switched off the ignition, closed the door and armed the car too quickly.
Close the door then take 2/3 steps away and then arm it. This will give the ECU time...

Have a dig about on here, loads of specialist insurers knocking about.
Admiral/Bell/Elephant are all usually good and are all the same company.
Yeah really need to get it RR'd then I know what I'm working with. Might even get it done at Trax next month, was going to do it at FCS but the queue was ridiculous!
Matched inlets wont offer much though as I understand things as I already have RS inlets being a 182.
I might get an RS Tuner and go from there.
ITB's and turbos aren't an option at the moment really.
Cool cheers Ben :)
K-Tec have a decent offer on at present -
Cat Cam (428) Fast Road Camshafts, Remap, Matched Inlets fitted with cambelt service all in for around £1500. What gains should I expect from this?
RS Tuners - let me get this right, I buy it for circa £170 (exchange rate dependant) then I 'remap' my car and once done I can sell it on for around £100 on here...?
Or am I missing something?
Would Recaro's be a decent upgrade or we talking serious buckets here?
I don't want anything too impractical so would need to retain slide/tilt functions.
After almost selling the car this week, I have ultimately decided that I'm keeping ol' RB for the forseeable future :)
Now, as I'm keeping her and she needs no ££ spending until May of next year (service/MOT time) I've decided I'm going to spend a bit on mods.
Car already has;

Arron, did you try any specialists as Kwik Fit (and the compare websites) are very main-stream.
I'm pretty certain you can get it much lower than £3k TPFT by using a specialist.
