The green arrow is the caliper, the red arrow is the carrier which bolts to the caliper. Without a clearer picture it's impossible to say if they've been changed as they could have swapped the old carrier onto a new caliper (as I did).
Renault do the OE discs with bearings pressed in and are more than adequate for the rears.
Pads are personal choice really as they do very little. Personally I run Mintex all round.
EML could be something as simple as a dirty sensor. Is the car still driving ok? Has it gone into limp mode or anything? What car is it as you don't actually say?? ;)
I was the same, bought them, fitted them then took them off and sold them.
Looked great in the pics but somehow I just didn't feel they looked right on my car...
Well, after lots of interest in the meet there were three of us in total.
Pics below, before the third member (Lee) turned up, I'm sure his pics will be added when he gets chance...
Anyway, was a good evening and some great driving roads over to Haworth and back! :approve...
If you've bought the discs and they're the correct ones for your car then there is no need to worry about the centre part which sits over the hub.
The only bolts that secure the disc to the hub are torx bolts (T35 from memory).
The centre nut secures the hub to the axle and does not need...
You probably need a mani-CAT kit from Renault. Includes new bolts, gaskets etc and should sort the problem out.
Yes they are quite common to be blowing from there, mine included.
As for the Yozza's, they are made to order so there is quite a lead time but as far as I know everyone received...
dutty has done it so his headlights come on when you unlock the car.
He linked (from memory) the remote contact of the headlight relay to the swiched feed of the interior light, with a diode inline.
Did you buy a decat with the system? If the decat is fitted then the car will not pass an MOT.
Not sure about the pipe cutting as I've never fitted a Milltek sorry.
I have never ever needed to turn the wheel whilst changing brakes and I'm struggling to see why you would need to?
I'd rather have the keys in my pocket so I knew there was no chance of the car being started whilst up on jacks/stands etc.
Oh and apologies about the ABS thing, I re-read it...
Personally, I'd have stuck with white. I appreciate they're a pain to keep clen, but the car now looks like every other Anthracite Turini wearing RB 182.
Not liking the sticker either, what's that all about? :S
Car looks good and sits well though, what's it on?
