well (not bein funny) if you read my post above i dont think you could get a refund. There`s no concrete evidence to suggest any "specific" given power at any point in time on any car, with every condtion and tolerance being different you can get ballpark figures but not total accuracy...
amongst other things.
basically the aim is too not lose power but gain induction noise, this is the way all N/A systems should be viewed on smaller engines like a 2.0 16v.
makes me laugh all the people buying maxogens, BMC etc.. spending hundreds to gain almost nothing and to top it off...
true, but i doesnt matter, who is going to take their car and sue a manufacturer for their car not producing the quoted figures, cant see how anyone would be interested, also they could argue that every RR`d is different and air temps / density + engine out of the factory have differenct...
the answer is obviously no.
but is it worth it for a loud induction roar to keep you + mates grining and sound more like a proper hothatch/performance engine then maybe yes. but not by purchasing an indcution kit but modyfying the standard airbox.
those who spend £350+ on induction kits are...
true, i have long journey home from work each day and im constantly having to adapt my driving to the road surfaces, it is a informative but frenetic car in the wet. it not bad at all going through standing water in straights line, its changing lanes or running over puddles when the wheels are...
didnt some guy come down in a red MKII172 the other day and before your work have 160hp and after have 170 with inlet work im sure i read the thread as it had graphs on i think.
this is why 200bhp claims are a bit ott its not the consumers fault really is it ? like if you bought a tft monitor...
but surley not losing any power but not gaining any isnt a bad thing ? you have got to reconginse that your 172 will sound a lot nicer and have sweet roar and less EU noise regulated hum, hence why i went with the hillpower system, its not going to gain anything (ok maybe a 2hp on a cool day...
seriously though, if what we want is dense cold air forced through a small`ish tube to create high mass high preassure cool air i.e induction scoopy to feed to filter, then surley something that can cool that air even further before it reaches the filter will allow for a better combustion ...
ahaha vivid imagination,
and M3 driveby with zorst on..

not sure id say the 172 on the vid is quite the same but maybe in deaf
leaf blower vid is quality.
im a spacker of course but in theory if you put a turbo just before your filter would you get increase air compression are it spooled up lol lol seriously i cant see why not ?
8" wide would make them fit the arches more ??? but also be a whole 1" wider than 172/182 16" wheels i could also go lower maybe ???
going for this look...
would i need spacers or anything else etc..

i find that when braking in the cup im always concious of the direction the wheels are facing, so a corner will be engine braked into then with wheels straight a slight but firm dab on the breaks, let off the breaks with the lower gear engaged and keep a small but steady ammount of power as im...
yea mondeo`s and the like have this stuff on as a standard coating and rain just peels off the screen, quite cool. supprised with all the pointless gadgets you get in the 182 that an important one like a rain-x type film couldnt have been applied especially seen as renualt wipers dont like...
you should all pop down to leeds to get your 172/182`s chipped forget the bhp gains and concentrate on the juicy 12lbft increase and a smooth powerband
£300 iirc
perhaps 172`s/182`s will be crashed more as the prices come down with new new model out so younger drivers can afford them with policies like greenlight offer they will be crashed just as easily in the wrong hands, sure ABS is a nice option but its more than that isnt it, its the 90kilos weight...
grr you dont conver the cup, yet norwich union dont identify the difference between a 172 and a 172cup at all they just have 172 and 182 on their system
norwich unions for me is £58 per month was £50 but i told them about parking on the street this time hehe.
ok lets consider iam a dumb ass. neil are you saying that..
I a 27yr old male with full no claims cant be insured by greenlight because the Cup is too acident prone ?
i get 38.5 out of my cup with no back seats but i havent seen less with town. going fast or motorway than that, i did a quick trial for one week in my cup with no back seats super feather light and always in 5th gear as much as is required..
on the clock physically not being able to get any...
