last year when i owned my 172MKII i slid on some ice and i remember to brakes drilling away but it didnt stop me or slow me down, surley the message should be take care in wet or icey condtions.
who drives 1020kg 172 supermini with a light backend and a 2.0ltr in the front fast on shitty...
knowone sits in the back as they would roll around to much (no seats) so i have two speakers that up close sound really really shitty. Could i get 13cm Bass cones in there ?? this would beef up the sound without adding the weight of a woofer + amp and then i could improve the front mids to...
not supposed it does cut lag, hence the megane rs hasnt any lag, its the same design and parts as featured in mitsubishi`s evo
learn something new everyday
such an amazingly obvious point, in order to survive in a crash to identical clio`s hitting each other you stand a good chance, lower you clio and the strenghening bars wont meet the other clios and their bars will push like spears through your car.. a real issue at the mo with normal cars i.e...
its a sad truth in this country of lefty penicious farts making drivers criminals the lenghs they have gone to install the highest mount everest speed bumps possible through my local city and b roads makes a "slammed" car look very stupid idea indeed.
however if its for track use and you...
yea i got the point just after id typed my first response, i see what you mean, basically they can twist the figures and claim RR`d inaccuracy`s and "every cars different" to sell these chips with inflated figures.
but having said that on the flip side, its still a valid point, if a map is...
isnt a "slammed" look very toyracer surley a properly setup car doesnt necessarily need to be "slammed" ?? sure sports cars are low but not so much as to knuckle drag on the floor
without wanting to take this thread off topic too much, i doubt:
is anywhere near true, unless your running a 4.0 V8 etc.. maybe fueling on those + full exhaust may see that even then maybe too optomistic.
also they claim 20hp on your specific chip usually, so a 1.2 3cyl engine with a...
does everyone know about cars ? if a K&N is advertised by a motorsport company as giving 10hp gains and a chip is advertised at 15-20hp gains then you will think in your mind having bought these parts based on claims that you car is pushing this kind of power out. It may not be the guys fault he...
im 27 with full no claims and a 172cup im paying £58 per month with norwich union they have been really helpful and freindly but i know now iam starting to do a few mods i.e induction kit they will probably boost my payments.
if i had bucket seats in my cup how much would you add, what about...
theres a guy on here with a LSD for his 200bhp cup does 0-60 in 5.1 secs !
think its a quaiffe or gripper. shouldnt be anywhere near £3k imo
hope this helps
thats a fair point the cup is a handful in the wet so much more difficult to drive normal speeds yet other none performance cars i have driven are fine ? i imagine light rwd cars like elises are a problem too
i only think ABS, ESP helps with inexperienced drivers, cadence braking is possible also.
remember esp is primarily designed for when you have two wheels on a grass verge and two on tarmac limiting power to those of the least grip and balancing power out, also yet esp helps with turning around...
what are those meg wheels ? obviously still 18`s are they the lightweight ones ktec sell ??
nice pics, looks like a good day out, where exaclty was it ? looks like some good roads
could you be happy in the fact that you own a new car thats nice and much better than what alot of people can afford to run maintain.
btw what colour is it ?
agree, obviously the 172/182 are sooo light compared with most cars their power to weight is very very good but there are downsides to this stripped style of supermini, the 206 is a supremini but its proportions are closer to hatchback inside than the tiny clio, also may not mean much but its a...
st170`s are awesome at cornering though.
i like the 180gti`s there overlooked yet are fairly light and have 180bhp also have more tuning options for then in fact cheaper tuning options that renault have, its taken years for renault to get any decent tuners out there, thank god for GDI...
