Ok - well when you go back to the car climb in and put the key in the ignition. Take note as to what the immobiliser flashing LED does as this will help identify the problem.
Can I ask why you have no spare?
There is a re-sync you can do for your current key if you do a search on here, but...
First thing I would try is your spare key. It may just be that your current key has got out of sync.
If neither key works then I'm afraid it's something more serious. As the remote central locking doesn't work it could be ECU related as the receiver is built in I believe.
When it stops turning over does the immob light go solid red?
If the light stays out it is not an immobiliser issue and as such I wouldn't bother with the new decoder ring.
In that case drop Mark Dow a message and see if he can help you out.
In the past I have used my card to order for people that don't have the means to pay online and just put their name/address on the actual tickets.
:)
Was thinking of doing a complete flush, but will probably leave it for the moment and just top up the Dot 4 that's already in the system then.
Thanks for the advice guys.
Ordered the Brembo Max HC discs and Goodridge lines, now just need to decide on a set of pads.
Have looked at the DS2500 but they seem a little pricey for what I need, what's a decent alternative? Greenstuff seem to come well recommended on various sites!?
Re: Insurance. Fookers!
Some companies now list the 172 Cup as insurance group 17, whereas the other 172's and 182's are group 16.
Not sure about the Trophy though.
Yeah they do, the centre mount is crap. You could try tightening this up or replacing it but ultimately I believe it will always hang at a dodgy angle.
The dipped beam will be Xenon D2S and the side lights are probably LED to match.
Main beam and fogs are standard filament lamps hence the yellowish colour.
