Upload them to photobucket, or similar mate.
The ride is slightly harsher yeah but the handling is much improved. I think the Prolines are a better bet if you're overly worried about ride quality but they don't sit quite as low.
I think (off the top of my head) they're 30mm front, 15mm rear.
As mine had the cup suspension pack it sits marginally lower as standard anyway.
Does yours have the cup suspension?
Thanks for all the advice guys, will bear it in mind about the copper grease spray.
Where would I buy Plus Gas from, is it automotive or general maintenance?
Would be excellent if you could, cheers pal :)
Covering the threads seems like a plan, just a bit of a ball ache I guess for...
Thanks for the info/advice Has :)
I've currently got them soaking in a WD bath so I wont be attempting to move them untill at least the weekend.
Looking to get some Pen. Fluid also, any ideas where from??
Clean the thread I presume?
Fred, do you mean hit the C spanners with a big hammer or use a big hammer and screwdriver type tool to hammer the adjusters round?
The difference is the spring rate. It's decided by the weight of the car as I understand it.
The risk is that if you fit the 1.4> springs to a 1.2 it will look no lower as the weight wont be great enough.
I doubt VERY much a company (Eibach) would go to the added expense of designing two...
Thanks lads, and yeah I decided it was a better idea to spend the ££'s on keeping her at her best :D
MOT due next month! :o
:) Worth the wait believe me Paul, my (female) mate described the sound as "heavenly" today! lol!
Cheers Scott, yours should be on it's way now - will check with work in the morning.
Thanks Russ, well after a lot of contemplating I decided to stick with the pads that I've used for the last 2 years now without issue so bought some more Mintex. Was hoping to go for the Ferrodo's but they...
Mine hasn't been on the car long mate so am just seeing how it goes. It's only painted and laquered so if it chips I'll take it to my powder coaters and get it sorted :)
Lol, didn't realise he fitted them too ;) Cheers can't wait to get them on now!
I love my wheels :o lol! Nah they're...
Fitted this last night, few quick phone pics so excuse the quality :o
And got this little collection of bits just waiting to be fitted...
:approve:
Quick one or two of the car as she looks now
Dave, having looked into this further I believe those codes may be the wrong way round - meaning t is the oil sensor and h the injector.
Either way, alot of the fault codes can be found on here if you serarch for them. Those are the ones I could recall off the top of my head.
Way OTT in my opinion mate, unless it's some kind of track/rally **** then I think odd coloured body panels look out of place.
Anthracite would be good, with alloys/badges to match.
There isn't a guide that I know of but basically jack the car up to get the front end higher. Get down and look under the front of the bumper, you will have to remove various splash guards to gain access to the rear of the fog light.
Once this is done there are 3 (I think) retaining screws...
Well personally Lee I'd stay away from bright colours as I think with the BG colour it would be a bit OTT. I'd probably go for a nice bright clean silver just to make them stand out a bit more.
Keep away from red for obvious reasons IMO.
t---
means an injection fault has been detected for greater than 4 seconds.
---h
means an oil level sensor fault has been detected. Resistance from the sensor should be between 6 and 20 Ohms. Any reading over 20Ohms is an open cicuit anything under 3 is a short circuit.
