I've had a good look at this today yeah, the only problem I found is that the interior light +ve feed is permanent and the door switch switches one return (-ve) and the central locking switches the second return (-ve). There doesn't seem to be the two +ve feeds there as I originally said...

You can't reprogram a used key to your car. You can re-synch your original keys, but what you're trying is not possible.

Alien, there will be no extra current drawn as all that the interior light will be doing is switching the relay coil, not actually powering the headlights.

Bonnet alignment is done via the hinges. I think the bolts are in oval holes, or similar.

Spot on Marshall. No I do not own Renault, I wish I did! I simply have a more mature attitude than to simply think "I was ripped off" because perhaps a Renault dealer charged me considerably more than a back street garage would have done. Peoples logic in this respect just fails me, it really...

Just pulling out of Boundary Mill in Colne about 4.30 this afternoon. I was on the round about coming from the M65.

There is a washer also from memory that comes with the washer jet, just no nut. If not buy a couple of M14 washers also, I can't remember as it's years ago now.

No the M14 nut is not supplied by Renault with the washer jet, they may be able to supply but it would be a separate price. I picked up a couple for a few pence from my local hardware store.

I'd donate a tenner to scrap it, sell the bits and never see that heap of crap on the roads again...!

Renault, last time I bought one they were about £8 each. Yes there is an M14 size nut securing them to the bumper skin. If yours has been 'ripped off' is the bumper damaged at all?? As above.

Adapters are available yes, just make sure you get the correct one for the year of your car. "Tuner list" and "Update list" are two different systems.

:) Plus it gives you the option of changing plates without any hassle. I have 4/5 different sets of plates and don't need to fight with sticky pads everytime I want to swap them over!
