I've had a good look at this today yeah, the only problem I found is that the interior light +ve feed is permanent and the door switch switches one return (-ve) and the central locking switches the second return (-ve).
There doesn't seem to be the two +ve feeds there as I originally said...
Alien, there will be no extra current drawn as all that the interior light will be doing is switching the relay coil, not actually powering the headlights.
Spot on Marshall.
No I do not own Renault, I wish I did! I simply have a more mature attitude than to simply think "I was ripped off" because perhaps a Renault dealer charged me considerably more than a back street garage would have done. Peoples logic in this respect just fails me, it really...
I think we're missing the point here chaps.
The OP seems pissed off that Renault charged £50 for a diagnostics that didn't show anything. Hardly the dealers fault that though is it? If the OP believed there was an issue and the computer doesn't show any faults then what, exactly, can Reanult...
There is a washer also from memory that comes with the washer jet, just no nut.
If not buy a couple of M14 washers also, I can't remember as it's years ago now.
No the M14 nut is not supplied by Renault with the washer jet, they may be able to supply but it would be a separate price.
I picked up a couple for a few pence from my local hardware store.
Renault, last time I bought one they were about £8 each.
Yes there is an M14 size nut securing them to the bumper skin. If yours has been 'ripped off' is the bumper damaged at all??
As above.
I sold my 1.2 with a small amount outstanding, was 100% honest with the buyer and settled the outstanding once I had received the monies from the new owner. :)
:)
Plus it gives you the option of changing plates without any hassle. I have 4/5 different sets of plates and don't need to fight with sticky pads everytime I want to swap them over!
