Jamie, it's expensive believe me. Brun is correct in what he says, the only way if you haven't got a spare at all is via Renault.
Second hand keys cannot be reprogrammed.
It's an earthing issue I'm fairly certain. Take out both rear clustes and have a look for the negative connection behind them, it will be bolted to the framework of the car, possibly just inside the boot (I can't remember off the top of my head.)
If this connection is loose, rusty or corroded...
I think the UCH is paired to the ECU as they come blank new.
I also think that this is a one-time pairing and it cannot then be moved to another ECU.
As for what's needed, no idea sorry!
No, the spec level of your car will dictate how easy/difficult it is. Some are pre wired and just need the bits fitting, others have nothing and need the complete sytem.
The master socket will generally have BT on it and be closest to the point of entry for the line.
If you really can't tell take the fronts off and have a look.
To do away with auto wipers, I believe you can fita wiper stalk from a non-auto equipped car - thus disabling the function.
I haven't tried it though so no guarantees!
Well as far as I know the glove box is part of the lower dash and as such can not easily be replaced, even the door isn't removable.
Have you checked your catch isn't strained for it to be sagging so much?
Yours must be bad then. All glove boxes I have seen have sagged as does mine, but it's nowhere near enough to make the light come on.
You sure your switch is workng?
;) sorry but it's dark when I get home from work and I'm doing 7 days a week at present. My next day off isn't untill the 26th of this month so will try and sort it! :)
