Russ, yeah make sure you work out the solution so there's about an inch of soap in the bottle and then the rest is water. The dial ontop of the lance should be about mid-way from my limited experience, and should never need to be set to maximum. Just take it nice and slow and it's great fun! :)...
Pull the stereo fuse and see if the interior courtesy light goes out?
As you're not getting the full 12vdc through the permanent feed then perhaps it's relay controlled? I've no experience with the 197's to be honest.
I see what you mean. It's not as straight forward as it is in the Mk2's.
Does the interior courtesy light still work?
What's the 10A fuse in the bottom right corner?
Sounds tricky.
There is only one fuse for the clock/radio although in the Mk2 Clio's it does the interior courtesy light too.
There will always be empty spaces in the fuse panel due to the spec level of your car and the equipment it hasn't had fitted.
Sounds stupid but you are testing the...
If you're only getting 2.5vdc on the permanent feed then something must still be shorted out somwhere. Can you see where you originally shorted them out? As in have you found the fault?
What are you testing between to get 2.5vdc?
Cheers and yeah the badge is unique! It does look 10x better in the flesh though, it's a fade effect not a half and half as it appears in that pic.
Sure is Magnex yeah and I remember chatting about it at FCS but wasn't sure who to! lol!
Cheers for all the comments :)
Finally got round to working out my snow foam lance (:o) and the settings are almost spot on now I feel... ;)
Oh and a couple of the much-needed daylight pictures of my CF mirror covers.
Enjoy...
Mine has the hook and hole set up, I have still managed to bend one jacking point ever so slightly though!
Car is too low for a trolley jack! :dapprove:
As said, depends on personal circumstances.
If you need more family space/rear doors etc then the 225 is probably a better bet than the 197.
If I didn't need 4/5 seats I would definitely have the Vee over either of the above cars.
Yes, originally there was two different tyres for non-cup packed cars and the cup-packed ones.
This was changed though and the PE2's were across the board for the 182's.
Well from personal experience HGF results in;
Loss of power
Coolant level drop
Oil level drops
Oily residue from exhaust/smoking
I believe you are worrying about nothing but as you say always best to get it checked out. :)
