Anthracite ;)
Most 182 wheels are already that colour, does yours not have the Cup suspension pack?
For reference a brand new 182 alloy from Renault minus the centre cap is £160.
Yes, about £150 for the full setup when I had my 1.2 (several years ago now).
The kit includes;
2 x brackets
2 x fogs
1 x wiring loom
1 x relay
1 x replacement stalk.
Fitting is easy really if you're an average DIYer :)
Anyone remember Connor (or whatever his name was!)?? Been a few years now but he had undeclared mods, he stacked it and they wouldn't pay out.
Ended up borrowing a futher £5k ontop of the car loan in order to pay for it re-shelling.
Insurance fraud, it's not big and it's cerainly not clever.
Strange, if it's a full non-fault claim then surely it's not your responsibility to pay any monies?
My mum had a full non-fault claim and was given a courtesy car untill her cheque cleared (written off). The excess was paid by the third party's insurance and my mum didn't shell out a penny...
There's a few, spax, Pi, k-tec...you get what you pay for really though. Eibach are pricey for a reason and on standard shocks I wouldn't be looking for a massive drop anyway.
It is quite dfificult to locate, believe me!
If you stand at the front of the car looking into the engine bay you need to look kind of central between the wipers then work your way downwards. You will find a very small rubber hose protruding through the bulkhead with a kind of flap over the...
With regards Dutty's mod, the headlights will not come on when he opens his door as there is two separate feeds to the courtesy light. One from the central locking (the one to use) and one from the door switches (not to be used).
As for the fog light mod, beechey I can possibly do you a...
I would have paid the full asking price all day long, pointless post I know but one day I will have a LY V6!
Congrats Glenn, glad you got what such a rare car is really worth! :approve:
A locksmith is one thing, cutting a key is simple. But coding the immobiliser and remote plip now that's something else... ;)
The immobiliser is part of the ECU (iirc) so even an auto electrician would struggle with that one.
It's not such a Monopoly when you think about it really, if every back street garage could code keys/immobilisers etc our Cat 1 vehicle security would be a joke ;)
Yes there is but from previous experience it usually indicates a sensor/coil/similar electrical fault.
I've never heard of the UCH throwing up the dash light but I may be wrong.
Thinking about it, everything seems 'auto' related, maybe your auto sensor has packed in??
