...it's a work in progress so patience ;) but to date, the results; Front diamond Dash inserts Engine cover :cool: oh and ignore the IK that was there when i bought the car but it's going lol! :evil:

That's the basis of my theme mate, RB through and through. The engine cover is RB as is the front diamond and the dash strips. The badges are going the same colour but with anthracite lettering to match the alloys then changing the side repeaters. :)

looks mint Andy :) My engine cover is now done and fitted but it's not quite as mint as yours ;) My badges are arriving this week for spraying up. No offence to Mark (:o) but I like the satisfaction of spraying them up myself. :rasp:

Sanded, primered (several coats) then sprayed, sanded and sprayed again (several times) couple of coats of lacquer. Did it quick TBH but I will redo if it's ever needed :)

replace it for a parcel shelf without speakers :rasp:

lol, as you stand looking into the engine bay the box is down the right hand side under the airbox area. You may need to remove the airbox for access. Failing that get underneath the car, you wont miss it. ;)

I would have to check myself as I haven't had much to do with gearbox mounts thankfully :o but it definitely sounds like it's a problem in that area.

Would if I could, the car is currently at the garage in question and we have no means of getting it from there as it's undriveable.

Sounds like a gear box mount issue to me, have you had a nosey around?

It's 100% a 1.3 mate, the garage have phoned today and have said that the head needs skimming. Best case scenario £400 - £500 and worse case scenario £1000+ :eek: I wasn't with the car when it broke down so not 100% on the symptoms but the GF said it was smoking and steaming and then wouldn't...

My dealer failed mine on illegal plates, so they made me some legal ones, fitted them and then passed it all at no extra cost to me. :)

At 17 I would of killed myself in an RS with or without the £3k premium! ;)

Yeah exactly mate, I shall await confirmation from the garage tomorrow. I am more than happy to do the HG myself but we can't really get it from the garage now as it's undriveable. Plus i wouldn't want to spend time and money replacing it only to find the head needed skimming. :dapprove:

iirc TDC sensor isn't in the CAT, it's on the right hand side of the engine down just above the gear box.

I always use my dealer but they are always straight with me. Plus I get a free courtesy car for the day :approve:
