i'm still in two minds as to whether to go back to vista. i don't see what the problem is with vista. no stupid lightweight crap "apps" faster than win 8 at certain tasks. the only thing its better at is it boots quicker.

having the amp anywhere in the boot will subject it vibrations i had my JL audio amp screwed to the back of my sub box never did it any harm

sometimes a fully drained battery will never recover and will need to be replaced. if you've got a multimeter you could test at the battery with the engine running to see what you get (anything less than 13.5v and i'd say your alt isn't working/charging)

you haven't disturbed any wiring under the bonnet? as it sounds like your alternator isn't working you could of also killed your battery at the same time (i've drained a few batterys installing car audio lol)

does the sub work when in cd mode? how old is the head unit not to have a remote out?

you could try that one you've posted but the specs don't add up a 48dBi antenna would be massive i'd try this if it was me then get a long usb lead for it

you'll be able to bend the clips back and get it in i've done it changing head units between cars

a chmip could fit it in 10 mins :clown: with the cage bend the clips out the will hold it into the dash (probavly about 4 clips) the stereo will clip into that with pre made holes

mine took 10 mins but i do have an alpine head unit so was plug and play i'd say i could install a ktp-445u in well under an hour to a standard h/u in a clio

you will never get a filament lamp to look white like a xenon lamp if you go for blue filament lamps you are going to lose a hell of a lot of brightness i've got osram nightbreakers in my polo and i would say they are far from yellow
