i'm not defending alpine (well slightly lol) but i highly doubt the spl dynamics uses a 1/3 the power for the same output
remember the gain is not a power dial/volume control;)
Bass should never go above 0
treble i like to add a little maybe +2 at a push
Fade slightly forward so front +1 or +2
and Loudness definatly off
There may be a way to connect an Alpine KTP-445 to the standard head unit if you want to improve things
Looks like a KTP-445U will
i had the same problem with an old ntl modem was fine right up until i upgraded to 20Mb then it kept shitting itself and least once a day and kept taking the router with it
new modem sorted it and still use the same router on my super hub now
i had this problem with a pc before
turned out to be the motherboard wasn't holding the psu on, so you get a little glimmer of life as you press the button and then nothing
has anybody used any in there house or work or anywhere?
i bought one to see what it's like and it is spot on but not sure i want to pay the £100 for 9 tbh
there are others on ebay (i know) that are around the £30-£40
yep take that hard drive out of the carrier (4 screws on the side) and replace with new drive then
slot it all back together re-install windows and away you go
if you must keep the standard head unit to drive the speakers then i'd say these
you should still get a decent volume out of them from the little power the head unit offers
it's going to be easy in the engine bay as that's where the battery is
find a switched ignition to trigger a relay and your away (another relay in engine bay?)
Re: Xbox 360 update rolling out today - brings internt explorer to Xbox and smartscre
i've always got mine connected too
i do like the extra weight it adds
and the excess would more than likely be more than the £30 to cover the amp for 5 years
my amp was 3 years old when i got fed up of it only outputting the right channel
i hope you bought the warranty for the amp (and possibly the sub)
as i've just sent my cambridge audio amp off for repair after i believe it killed one of my mordaunt short speakers
if it was me i'd be using the existing wiring to the door speaker and run a new one to the tweeter
i had similar set up in my clio (but the x-over was in the head unit pre amp)
