Rust converter
Anti rust primer
Smooth hammerite
Renault pearl black rattle can
Is there anything else I may need?
Thought these were meant to be galvanised? The bubbling and slight paint flake is on both arches in the same place working its way up from the sill. The underseal in the arch seems to have ran and conjealed in globules close to the area where the paint has bubbled. Could this have caused this...
I syringed a small amount of costic soda in mine (plug hole unblocker) left it to work and eventually unblocked it. This stuff is corrosive though so try and make sure it doesn't touch the paint.
Yep- what he said. Either that or replace with something with a turbo already fitted (golf GTI, TDI, Subaru etc) as this will be easier to upgrade in the future- if engine mods is your thing. 172/182 though is best bang for buck- you can't go quicker for less
