This well be my first time fitting an exhaust. Hopefully the old one should come off easily at it has recently had a new centre section.
I'm told this back box should just fit onto the standard system. Fingers crossed
Stripped one of back panels and the inside is full of grease. I've also noticed a small gap between the body panel and the wheel arch just where it begins. It's this normal?
Last couple of days it's been reading and with the heater on my 172 has had condensation come back with a vengeance particularly on the rear Windows. The problem is all the carpets, headliner etc are dry. I can't work out where this is coming from.
I have thought there may be dampness often...
Been and had tyre swapped from my buckled spare alloy today. Now has four matching corners! I haven't had the chance to get it up to speed tonight to check the noise is gone but fingers crossed
I've spent a fortune getting it through its mot. Theoretically I'm fine with the mechanical side of things. But maybe worth while getting it fully checked over by a local specialist. I believe dtm are my local ones
yep- first time i ever used it- must have been abused in the past- just like my car which I believe has had a rear axle because for it's troubles unfortunately they didn't replace the buckled alloy, just swapped it for the spare :(
Car is standard. I put the Jack under the rear sill. Turned the handle, once I could feel the pressure and it went slack. Didn't even lift the car off the ground!
